TransContainer RAS net profit jumps by 53.8% in January–June
MOSCOW, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s leading railway container operator TransContainer jumped by 53.8% on the year to 11.879 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Friday.
Revenue gained 21.5% to 92.976 billion rubles, and the gross profit increased by 12.9% to 19.859 billion rubles. The sales profit rose by 12.8% to 16.457 billion rubles.
Long-term liabilities of TransContainer surged to 90.838 billion rubles as of the end of June from 66.924 billion rubles as of the beginning of 2023, while short-term liabilities plunged to 43.313 billion rubles from 76.271 billion rubles.
